Barb has been playing the violin  since the age of five and got her first training in fiddle and performance with the Calgary Fiddlers organization, where she first met Chris.  At eighteen she teamed up with Chris to start the Celtic roots band ClanTerra.  She spent 6 years  playing and touring North America and the UK with ClanTerra, which included performances at  Walt Disney World and a variety of festivals throughout Canada. More recently Barb completed her Bachelors of Music degree from the University of Calgary while continuing to play with local bands like Third Reel, Seanachie, and Masacote. Her amazing fiddling and beautiful vocals always leave an audience entranced and is truly a must see.
