Chris has been in the Canadian music industry for over 30 years as an audio engineer and producer, but only started performing himself in the last 10 years.  He first met Barb at age 11 when he became Technical Director for The Calgary Fiddlers. As  the guitar and bodhran player for ClanTerra, Chris studied, and was influenced by, some of the greatest drummers in the Celtic music world, such as Donnchadh Gough of Danu and John Joe Kelly of Flook.  The result is his own unique style that is rhythmically driving,  yet intricately complex.  His solid rhythms provide the stability that allows the melodic virtuosity of Barb and Jay to shine.
